What is it that a long/triple jumper needs? The answer is speed and a powerful takeoff. Getting down the runway as fast as possible and hitting the board with force is the equation that will equal a strong, explosive jump. Jumpers can tell you that being able to explode off of the takeoff will give you the edge over the competition. So to train that you need to focus on reactive plyometrics, speed training, and an aggressive weight room program. This program will not only make you faster down the runway but also allow you to be as explosive as possible. We will cover all areas of the body to build the ideal jumper.
